High Cotton blew the doors off the Hartwell blues scene for the second weekend in a row with a sold-out show featuring D.K. Harrell, an up-and-coming blues guitarist from Louisiana. High Cotton brought Harrell and his band to create another electrifying night in a town full of blues lovers.

The Hart County Library Board of Trustees held its year-end budget meeting June 28 and took a few moments to recognize one of its own. Mrs. Nancy Clark, a trustee member for more than thirty years, made the decision to step down from the Board as her term expired last Friday.
