Well, I will officially admit, I’ve been proven wrong. But there’s still a challenge that remains.
I have tried to lay low after putting my column out called, “What happened to the passion? My challenge for Hart County.” But everywhere I turned, someone had something to say about it.

The Bulldogs converted three of their four forced turnovers into 17 points in Hart County’s first win in the Granite Bowl since 2014, 17-7.
Hart made the 18-mile trip down Elberton Highway to take on their rival, Elbert County, in the Granite Bowl on Aug. 16.

Lake Hartwell ‘trash tank’ to be unveiled Aug. 28

The Lake Hartwell Partners for Clean Water (LHPCW) will host a ribbon cutting event Aug. 28 for the unveiling of the new trash tank.
The trash tank is a new litter clean-up boat designed to keep Lake Hartwell clean and beautiful.

When Robert Fulton unveiled his new invention, the steamboat, a host of naysayers gathered on the riverbank yelling, “it’ll never start, it’ll never start.” Fulton quieted the crowd when, after a lot of clunking and groaning, the boat began moving down the river.
