Ralph George Sewell Ralph George Sewell, age 97, of 94 Cade Street in Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, 2020 at Hartwell Health and Rehab surrounded by his family. He was born on June 7, 1923 in Lavonia, Ga.

Shelby Lacy Ms. Shelby Jean Lacy, 82, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her home. Shelby was born on March 10, 1938, and was proud to say that she was born and raised in Hartwell, Ga., and has returned here in the later years of her life.

Wayne Bagwell, 61, of Carnesville, died Sept. 7, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 10, at the chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home in Lavonia.

Donna Moss, 63, of Lavonia, died Sept. 3, 2020. A memorial service was held Sept. 5, at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Lavonia. Donations may be made to defray funeral expenses.

Danny Elrod, 69, of Lavonia, died Sept. 3, 2020. A private family service was held Sept. 8, at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Lavonia.

Margaret Peltier, 98, of Hartwell, died Sept. 6, 2020. The family will host a private memorial gathering in Michigan at a later date. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the family.

Alice Leming, 77, of Canon, died Sept. 3, 2020. A funeral service was held Sept. 6. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston was in charge of arrangements.

Susie Brock Mrs. Susie Lee Donald Brock, 89, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Born on October 29, 1930 in Townville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Clayton Donald and Cecil Mae Brady Donald. Mrs.
