Lady Dogs season comes to an end at Sectionals

After winning the first game, the Lady Dogs fell in back-to-back games they played in to end their season.On April 15, the No. 8 seeded Lady Dogs of Hart County traveled to Woodstock to compete in Sectionals, as they took on the No. 9 seeded Lady Wolverines of Woodstock.

Carly Dutton named Athlete of the Week

This week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Johnson Heating & Air, goes to slow-pitch softball’s junior pitcher Carly Dutton. Dutton stepped into a role she had never been in before, as she switched from second base to pitcher for the 2026 slow-pitch season and had success in the circle.

Soccer Dogs to host first set of playoff matches in school history

The Soccer Dogs dropped a total of 20 goals in the regular season finale to elevate both teams to host playoff matches for the first time in the school’s history.On April 16, Hart hosted the Eagles of Josey High School out of Augusta. For the Lady Dogs, they got off to a blazing hot start.

Diamond Dogs sneak into the playoffs

Seven Dogs score en route to win over Elbert

The Dogs had seven different players to score to pick up their 15th win of the season.  Hart returned to action after having 10 days off, as they traveled to the Granite Bowl to take on the Blue Devils of Elbert County.

Track Dogs conclude regular season at Franklin

The Track Dogs just sneak inside the Top 10 at the John Scott Hartness Invitational.  On April 11, Hart traveled to Carnesville to compete in the 2026 John Scott Hartness Invitational at Franklin County High School. For the boys, they finished ninth out of the 14 teams that competed.
