Will Bell named Athlete of the Week

This week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Johnson Heating & Air, goes to the Soccer Dogs’ senior forward Will Bell. Bell has played a vital part in the Dogs’ undefeated start to the season and has scored a multitude of goals so far this season, paired with a few assists.

Diamond Dogs five-game skid ends before falling in final inning to Oconee

The Diamond Dogs ended a five game skid to a future region foe, before falling in a close rematch against Oconee County on the road.  On Feb. 27, Hart hosted a future Region 8-AAA foe in the Indians of Lumpkin County.

McGarity captures National Title

14-year-old Hart County native Hudson McGarity captures his first Grand National Calling Championship.  On Feb. 11-15, McGarity traveled to Nashville, Tn. to compete in the 2026 Grand National Calling Championship.

Surviving and advancing

The Dogs continue their playoff run with a pair of impressive wins to advance to the Elite Eight. On Feb. 25, Hart, the No. 24 seed, made the lengthy, state line to state line, three and a half hour trip to Columbus to take on the No. 9 seeded Greenwave of Spencer.
