Alice Boman, 82, of Hartwell, died Feb. 22, 2021. She will lie in state at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell from 9 a.m. to noon Friday for anyone to come by and pay their respects. Other times the family will be at the home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb.

Helen Cape Helen Jayne Youngblood Cape, 76, of Cedar Street in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at AnMed Health. She was born in Suwanee, on August 29, 1944 to the late William Garnet Youngblood and Carrie Smith Youngblood.

Thelma Moore

Thelma Moore Thelma Lee Swafford Moore, 92, of Paradise Point Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home. Born on March 28, 1928 in Rockwood, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Garland Swafford and Ersie Swafford. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker.
