Thelma Lee Swafford Moore, 92, of Paradise Point Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home.
Born on March 28, 1928 in Rockwood, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Garland Swafford and Ersie Swafford. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Bill Moore (Christine) of Dawsonville; two daughters, Juanita Mount of Dahlonega and Dianne Bruce (Ricky) of Hartwell; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William A. Moore; one son, Jim Moore; one daughter, Kathleen Moore; one brother, Welsey Swafford and one sister, Cleo Teague.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 14, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with the Rev. Josh Gilbert officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
