Bennie Lee, 90, of Lavonia, died March 20, 2020. A funeral service was held March 22, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

Vicky Pedraza, 49, of Hartwell, died March 17, 2020. No services are planned at this time. Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.

Donald "Pop" Ellis Johnson, age 84, of Triple J Ranch Road, Canon, Ga., passed away early Saturday morning, March 14, 2020 at his home following a sudden illness.

Juanita Kay "Nita" Brown, 91, Hartwell, died  Monday, March 16, 2020 at Hart Care Center.

Esther Hyde, 84, of Canon, died March 16, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 19, at Franklin Memorial Gardens - North.

Jessica Rucker, 42, of Elberton, died March 17, 2020. Arrangements will be announced by Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elberton Chapel.

Jenell Oliver, 89, of Lavonia, died March 16, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Price Chapel Church of God.

Marshall Hayes, 74, of Lavonia, died March 13, 2020. A funeral service was held March 18, in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Royston.

Margaret Conwell, 92, of Lavonia, died March 11, 2020. Services will be held at a later date. Strickland Funeral Home in Lavonia is in charge.
