The Hart County Retired Educators met at the Hart County Schools Agricultural Center on March 1, 2022, with President Pam Gordon presiding. The two guest speakers at this meeting were Christina Silpe of the H.I.M. and Lisa McKenzie of the AMBA. Christina Silpe is the Executive Director of H.I.M.

Two new faces have joined the Hartwell Police force after both received awards in the academy. Summer Kennedy and Brittany Morris began their careers as police officers on Monday, but both have had jobs in aiding the public prior.
