Teenager arrested in connection to Elberton shooting

A teenager has been arrested in connection to the Elberton shooting that left 15-year-old Hart Academy student Bry’Shun Jordan dead and seven other people injured. Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jarquavious Demetriun Scott, 18, of Anderson County on Friday, Oct. 18.

Cross Country competes at Athens Christian

The Hart County High School boys cross country took home third place while the girls took home seventh at the 5th Annual Kent Kramer Classic. On Oct. 10, the boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Athens to compete in the 5th Annual Kent Kramer Classic at Athens Christian School.

Hart County students to host 7th Annual FCA Fields of Faith Event

Students from Lake Hartwell FCA will join thousands of other youth on athletic fields across the nation on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, to share their Christian faith with fellow students during the annual national Fellowship of Christian Athletes Fields of Faith event.
