Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 25 holds boating safety course

Submitted by Bill Fogerty   Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 25 of Lake Hartwell held its first Boat America class at the lower lever of Adult learning Center early in March.  The class had very good attendance with audience members ranging from teens to grandparents.

Clovers and Company to perform at HCHS April 12

The annual Buddenbaum STEAM Showcase, displaying student projects from every school in the district, is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, at the Hart County High School Gymnasium.

Phillip Henderson: Wheelchair pickleball star

Despite being paralyzed from the waist down, 51-year-old Phillip Henderson has become a top pickleball player at the Hartwell YMCA, inspiring others with his skill and determination. Henderson became paralyzed at 14-years-old after complications during open heart surgery to repair an artery.
