Bulldogs travel for first round of state

The Hart County Bulldogs will travel to Ringgold to play in the first round of the state AAA playoffs against the Ringgold Tigers this Friday. Ringgold is approximately 15 miles south of Chattannooga, Tenn. in the northeast corner of Georgia.

Lady Diamond Dogs make All-Region list

Despite a disappointing season, several Hart County softball players received all-region honors. Seniors Taikibrea “Red” Campbell and Annslee “Boo” Mitchell were named to the first-team all-region team, as well as sophomore Jazania Shealer.

Cross Country team places 3rd in state

The Boys Cross Country team placed third in state at the GHSA State Cross Country Championships 2021. The teams travelled to Carrollton on Nov. 5 to compete against teams from across the state.

Hart finishes 3rd in region after loss to Hurricanes

The Hart County Bulldogs took third in region after losing to Monroe Area 35-21 on the road. The Bulldogs lost to the Hurricanes after having the lead at halftime against the Hurricanes on Nov. 5.

Angel Tree Project returns for 10th year

The Angel Tree Project that provides presents to local foster children enters its 10th year. Claire Hoy, a fifth grader, and Tyler Bowers, a seventh grader, are the youth leaders for the  Angel Tree Project for Hart County this year.

Fleming receives Excellence in Agriculture Award

MACON, Ga. – Hart County Farm Bureau (HCFB) member Brian Fleming received the Georgia Farm Bureau (GFB) 2nd District Excellence in Agriculture Award during the district annual meeting, held Sept. 14 in Toccoa. Larry Haley is the HCFB president.
