Dyer uses faith to ‘keep doing life one step at a time’

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength,” Phillipians 4:13. That is the verse that pro fisherman Clay Dyer lives by. Dyer was born on May 23, 1978 without any lower limbs, no arm on the left side, and a partial arm on the right.

Maxwell Ratings makes predictions for Region 8AAA

The Maxwell Ratings, compiled by mathematician and Georgia High School Football Historians Association founder Loren Maxwell, have projected the region finishes of all 413 football-playing schools in the GHSA.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C – North Carolina senior Kaimon Rucker was named to the 2023 Wuerffel Trophy watch list, the award’s committee announced Thursday August 3.
Douglas Cordell Barnes, 36, of Cleveland, has not been seen or heard from since Saturday, July 19. His truck was located on Ga. 77 in Hart  County.

Police are searching for a White County man who has been missing for over 20 days. Douglas Cordell Barnes, 36, of Cleveland has not been seen or heard from since Saturday, July 19. Barnes was reported missing to the White County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, July 28.

Georgia students have yet to fully recover from the disruptions of the pandemic, but they’re making steady progress, according to the latest results from the Georgia Milestones tests. This year’s results, released Friday, showed increases on 13 of 21 end-of-course assessments.

Early voting proving popular in Georgia

Georgians have taken to early voting in a big way. The Peach State ranked second in the nation for early voting last November, according to a new study released by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.
