It’s Round Two in trying to sleep with hose up my nose

About a year ago, I wrote about my problem with sleep apnea. That’s what doctors call it when your breath takes a pause, or several pauses, during sleep. And you may snore. Now, I don’t think I snore in bed; at least my wife has never complained.

For the first time the local paper allowed a not impartial political letter after voting started. So here I am with a rebuttal. I won’t go after the points made by that letter writer.

More drilling ignores global warming

Drill, baby, drill …just doesn’t work. Petroleum is bought and sold in a global market, and the US has little control over its price. During the Trump presidency, the retail price of gas was about $2.43, yes lower than during the Biden presidency of about $3.24. Were Trump’s policies responsible?
