Jimmy Carter leaves 100-year legacy of making world better
In 2012 photographer and friend Wayne Morgan wanted to produce a children’s book to encourage better stewardship of Georgia’s rivers, especially the Little Satilla near his home in Brantley County. I volunteered to write the story in the voice of his grandson Kase. Knowing that Jimmy Carter, as a boy, loved fishing in the Little Satilla with his father, I asked the 39th president to endorse our book.
