Dogs come up just short of avenging their loss to the Indians

Hart County falls just shy of upsetting the Indians of Lumpkin County on their turf. On Aug. 30, the Bulldogs traveled up the mountain to take on the Indians of Lumpkin County. The Indians won the toss and elected to start the game with the football.

Community pep rally tonight

The Hart County Recreation Department is set to host the inaugural Community Pep Rally tonight at 6:30 p.m. After the “What happened to the passion? My challenge for Hart County” column, Jim Owens, president of the HCRD, took the challenge to heart and will host the inaugural community pep rally.

Volley Dogs go 0-5 in five match stretch

The Volley Dogs fell in all five matches at Habersham Central and at North Oconee. On Aug, 22, Hart traveled to Habersham Central to take on the Lady Raiders, the Lady Indians of Lumpkin County, and the Lady Warriors of White County.

PAC ends Lady Dogs win streak

After defeating Washington-Wilkes to begin a two game win streak, the Lady Dogs get run-ruled by Prince Avenue Christian to put an end to the win streak. On Aug. 22, Hart traveled to Washington-Wilkes to take on the Lady Tigers.
