Golf teams win Area Championship to advance to State

Hart County’s boys and girls golf teams captured the Area 4 championship to advance to state. On April 29, Hart hosted four other schools, Drew Carter of Atlanta, East Jackson, Franklin County and Stephens County to compete in the AA-Area 4 Tournament at Cateechee.

Survive and Advance

After a controversial call to fall in game one, the Diamond Dogs put together back-to-back wins to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. On April 25, Hart traveled to Thomson to take on the Bulldogs in a best of three series in the first round of the state playoffs.

Dogs return to the playoffs after a two year hiatus

For the fourth time in school history, the Dogs make the state playoffs following a big win over Thomson. On April 18, Hart hosted the Bulldogs of Thomson for the final regular season game of the season. Just six Manuel Velazquez Sigala put the Dogs in front with a goal, 1-0.

A multitude of Track Dogs advance to Sectionals

21 Track Dogs advance to Sectionals after competing in the Region 8-AA Meet. On April 17, two Track Dogs traveled to Monroe to compete in the George Walton Academy FAT. Junior Luke Samples placed first in pole vault and senior Harrison Krause placed fourth.

Lady Dogs season comes to an end in the Final 12

The Lady Dogs season comes to an end after getting eliminated by rival Elbert County in the Final 12. On April 16, Hart traveled to Woodstock to compete in the slow-pitch playoffs. In the first round, the No.10 seeded Lady Dogs took on the No. 7 seeded Lady Rebels of Haralson County.

Racquet Dogs Sweet Sixteen Bound

The Racquet Dogs advance to the Sweet Sixteen after sweeping Pike County on the road. On April 16, Hart traveled back to Dacula to compete in the consolation match in the Region 8-AA tournament against the Indians of Stephens County. The Indians quickly swept the Dogs, 3-0 to claim the No.
