It doesn’t feel like summer...yet

With graduation and Memorial Day now in our rear-view mirrors, the unofficial start of summer has officially began. Over the years, I’ve made no secret of the fact that summer is my least favorite season.

My favorite Hart County graduate

With the eighth pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Falcons select – Michael Penix Jr., quarterback, Washington. As the announcement was made, my jaw literally hit the floor. Then my immediate reaction was to text our editor and publisher at The Hartwell Sun, Patrick Fargason.

More than just a t-shirt

Each Wednesday, once The Hartwell Sun has been put to bed for the week and off to the printer, I treat myself to a nice lunch.
