Hart County Sheriff’s Office welcomes new K9

Last week, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office welcomed a new K9 deputy to their force, a male German shepherd named Jax. He is certified in methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and ecstasy detection, as well as article location and human tracking.

Each semester a select number of students at Emmanuel College are awarded academic recognition for their successful study by their inclusion on the President’s List or Dean’s List. To be named to the President’s List a student must earn a quality point average of 4.
