Community theatre to present “The Mousetrap”

The Hart County Community Theatre invites the public to support its production of Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery play, The Mousetrap, beginning on opening night, Sept. 20.

County to continue funding Chamber

After the Hartwell City Council’s meeting Monday night, numerous members of the public gathered at the Board of Commissioners (BOC) meeting to hear the county’s stance on the same subject: the Chamber of Commerce’s firing of Lindsey Ingle.

City council “reevaluating” Chamber funding

Hartwell Mayor Brandon Johnson stated that the city council is “completely reevaluating” whether or not to continue funding the Chamber of Commerce after the Chamber’s executive committee terminated Executive Director Lindsey Ingle without consulting its full board of directors.
