On Nov. 15, Rev. Gregory K. Hearn was inaugurated as Emmanuel University’s tenth president during a campus ceremony in the John W. Swails Center. Hearn, an alumnus of Emmanuel, has served the University for 13 years and has a forward-thinking vision for its future.

Holiday Bazaar to take place Saturday

The annual Hart Life Holiday Bazaar is slated to take place this Saturday, Dec. 7 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartwell. This year, the Bazaar will showcase over 50 artists, crafters and designers.

As the regular December meeting of the Hartwell City Council opened Dec. 2, city leaders took a few moments to honor the long, outstanding careers of two law enforcement officers who have meant so much to Hart County. There is a change in the guard in the county,” mayor Brandon Johnson said.
