HCPOA changes name, meeting dates for 2025

The Hart County Taxpayers and Property Owners Association (HCPOA) is kicking off 2025 with key updates to better serve the community and ensure fair and equitable taxation across Hart County. Among the most notable changes is a new meeting schedule starting in February.

Last week I took some time off to head to Atlanta and spend some time in State Farm Arena. Now I know what you’re thinking. You’re probably thinking since I am the sports reporter, I spent that time watching the Atlanta Hawks play basketball. Well, that was not the case.

After falling to Madison County to begin the new year, the Lady Dogs started region play 1-0 with a win over Prince Avenue Christian. On Jan. 4, Hart hosted the Lady Raiders of Madison County for the first game of the new year.
