Prior to the first day of school, the Hart County Charter System (HCCS) successfully conducted an active shooter simulation drill with local first responders on July 30 at Hart County Middle School.

Growing With Work and Chores

I grew up on a farm and as everyone knows, farms require work. They don’t run themselves nor do they wait for the work to be done. Everything has a season. I was first drafted to work on the farm when I was about eight years old. I worked in the field, hoeing and picking cotton and bell pepper.
