YMCA closes out June with final soccer camp

The Bell Family YMCA of Hartwell hosted their final soccer camp of the summer as they honed in on scenarios within the game. The campers braved out one of the hottest weeks of the summer to work on different scenarios that happen in the game of soccer on June 24-28.

2024 Football Position Breakdown: Linebackers

The most experienced position group on defense looks to make their mark in the 2024 campaign. The linebacker core of the Hart County High School football team only lost a few impact players in Trez Fouch, Jamir Rucker, and Korey Burton but returned everyone else.

Deputies arrest two in connection with stolen car, electronics

Two people were arrested by Hart County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies after a car chase out of South Carolina last Friday morning, leading to the recovery of stolen property, including a vehicle, license plate, and electronics. Around 11:43 a.m.

The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:   June 24   Stevie Jones, 34, of Canon was arrested and charged with probation violation - aggravated stalking, possession of methamphetamine, burglary in the first degree, possession of a firearm, and theft by taking.
