What is a fair share?

Progressive Democrats constantly declare that the wealthy do not pay their fair share of income taxes. Furthermore they say that they only intend to raise taxes on those earning more than $400,000 yearly. What is a fair share? For most matters each of us pays an equal amount.

More drilling ignores global warming

Drill, baby, drill …just doesn’t work. Petroleum is bought and sold in a global market, and the US has little control over its price. During the Trump presidency, the retail price of gas was about $2.43, yes lower than during the Biden presidency of about $3.24. Were Trump’s policies responsible?
