YMCA closes out June with final soccer camp

The Bell Family YMCA of Hartwell hosted their final soccer camp of the summer as they honed in on scenarios within the game. The campers braved out one of the hottest weeks of the summer to work on different scenarios that happen in the game of soccer on June 24-28.

The most experienced position group on defense looks to make their mark in the 2024 campaign. The linebacker core of the Hart County High School football team only lost a few impact players in Trez Fouch, Jamir Rucker, and Korey Burton but returned everyone else.

The Hart County High School Volley Dogs helped build the future of their program by hosting their third annual Kids Volleyball Camp. The Volley Dogs hosted the camp at the Hart County Middle School Gym on June 24-26.

A young group of Bulldogs looks to prove themselves at the defensive line position heading into the 2024 season. The Bulldogs lost just one impact player on the defensive line from a season ago due to graduation in Harley Harris.

The Bell Family YMCA kicked off their summer camps with a week-long FUNdamental soccer camp in which they integrated fun into teaching the fundamentals of soccer.

Every June, the National Football Foundation (NFF) releases the finalists for the College Football Hall of Fame, and the announcement makes my blood boil. The players and coaches named as finalists isn’t what draws my ire.
