With back-to-back wins over Monroe Area, the Diamond Dogs knocked the Purple Hurricanes out of the state playoff to make room for Hart County to earn the No. 4 seed out of Region 8-AAA.

American Legion golf tournament set for May 4

The Hartwell Golf Club gets set to host the annual 2024 American Legion Golf Tournament on May 4. The annual American Legion Golf Tournament is a crucial event to all that the American Legion Post 109 does for the veterans in Hart County and the surrounding communities.

Soccer splits against Christian schools

After a big non-region road win over Athens Christian, the Dogs put up a good fight against No. 2 Hebron Christian in a home loss. Hart traveled to Athens Christian to take on the Eagles on April 5, as they looked to bump their win streak up to three.

Racket Dogs split against rival in final region match

The Hart County High School boys and girls tennis teams split against Franklin County to set them up for the Region Tournament at Oconee County High School on April 9 and 10. The Racket Dogs traveled to Carnesville to take on the Lions of Franklin County.
