College football fans spend a good portion, if not all, of the summer anticipating the return of their favorite sport. Each college football season is full of excitement, and the coming campaign is sure to provide its share of thrills.

Lady Dogs snap two game skid with win at Elbert

The Lady Dogs softball team snaps a two game losing streak, as they avenge their loss to Elbert County in Elberton. On Aug. 15, Hart traveled to Banks County to take on the Lady Leopards after being shut out 10-0 in a run-rule just a few prior.

Well, I will officially admit, I’ve been proven wrong. But there’s still a challenge that remains. I have tried to lay low after putting my column out called, “What happened to the passion? My challenge for Hart County.” But everywhere I turned, someone had something to say about it.

The Bulldogs converted three of their four forced turnovers into 17 points in Hart County’s first win in the Granite Bowl since 2014, 17-7. Hart made the 18-mile trip down Elberton Highway to take on their rival, Elbert County, in the Granite Bowl on Aug. 16.
