The Hart County High School Lady Dogs’ basketball team pulled out a clutch win on Tuesday in a scrimmage against Banks County. The scrimmage game was a back-and-forth battle that ended 57-55 with the Lady Dogs prevailing.

Bulldogs dominate East Jackson in Region 8-AAA win

An offensive explosion in the first half propelled the Hart County Bulldogs to victory against region opponent East Jackson on Friday night in Commerce. The Bulldogs racked up 537 totals yards of offense and created three turnovers en route to defeating the Eagles 49-9 on the road.

A Senior Night showdown for a chance to be Region 8-AAA’s runner up is on tap for Friday in Herndon Stadium as the Hart County Bulldogs face the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes. The game could determine who earns second place in the region, which means a home playoff game.

A pair of Hart County Diamond Dogs are pursuing their dreams and playing at the collegiate level next year after putting pen to paper last week. Hart County seniors Casey Tallent and Will Dean each signed on Thursday, Nov. 12, to play baseball at their respective future colleges.
