Joseph "Joey" Jackson Johnson, Jr., 67, beloved husband of Margaret Moody Johnson, went home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Joey was born on May 15, 1952. He retired after many years of serving his community as a firefighter in Augusta.

James Benson Saylors, 79, of the Mt. Olivet Community, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Regency Hospital, Greenville, S.C. Born on December 20, 1939 in Hartwell, he was the son of the late John Thomas Saylors Sr. and Mamie Lacie Phillips Saylors.

 Charles Allen Forbes, age 88, of 94 Cade Street in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Hartwell Health and Rehab. He was born September 21, 1931 in Boston, Ma., to the late Charles F. Forbes and Clementine Hines Forbes. Charles retired from the Needham, Ma.

William Brent

William "Sam" Maurice Brent (M.Sgt. USAF Ret.), age 84, of 2159 Elberton Hwy., Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at AnMed Health Center, Anderson, S.C., from complications following a brave fight with lymphoma. He was born December 21, 1934 in Baltimore, Md.
