Gwendolyn "Gwen" Neal Starks Waller, age 75 of Providence Point in Hartwell, passed peacefully on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 13, 1944 in Hartwell to the late Dick Starks and Lizzie Rucker Starks.

Dean Adams

Mrs. Dean Shaw Adams, 89, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her home. Born on March 3, 1930 in Colbert, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Sam L. Shaw and Lola Mae Prather Shaw. Mrs. Adams was the loving wife of Jim Tom Adams for 40 years before his death in 1986.

Kathryn Drake

Kathryn Fleeman Drake, 80, of Royston, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens. Mrs. Drake was born in Bowman, Ga., on March 27, 1939, daughter of the late James Gartrell "Nook" Fleeman and the late Zelma Ashworth Fleeman.
