NFL Flag Football continues to grow in year two

NFL Flag Football at the Bell Family YMCA has become a hit after seeing growth in season two.    Last summer, the YMCA of Hartwell became Georgia’s sixth hub for the NFL Flag Football program and started with just under 100 players.

ONE MONTH AWAY FROM FALL SPORTS

As the summer comes to a close and a new school year is looming, it means fall sports are officially a month away.   Six teams that stretch across the campus of Hart County High School every day during the summer have been in full swing as they have been preparing for the 2025 campaign.

Habersham Padded Camp

A former Bulldog chooses FCA for life

By Benjamin London Staff writer   Former Hart County and Clemson alumni Samuel Garringer has been named the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) area representative for Anderson University.

BACK-TO-BACK STATE CHAMPIONS

On June 30, the Hart County Little League Senior League softball team traveled to West Point to take on Pioneer in the Senior League State Championship game. After a 19-0 win over Pioneer, Hart claimed their second straight state title. The team now prepares to take on Virginia in Clarksville, Tn.
