Lady Dogs pick up back-to-back wins over rivals

The Lady Dogs pick up massive back-to-back wins over their region rivals to set Hart County up for a potential third place finish in region play.    On Sept. 25, Hart hosted the Lady Lions of Franklin County but just moments into the game, it began to rain down and eventually postponed the game.

Volley Dogs capture No. 2 seed for Region Tournament

The Volley Dogs end the regular season with thrilling victories on the road against East Jackson and Franklin County.    On Sept. 25, Hart traveled to Commerce to take on the Lady Eagles of East Jackson and the Lady Lions of Franklin County.

Zaylen Shealer named Athlete of the Week

This week’s Athlete of the Week presented by Johnson Heating & Air goes to football’s senior receiver and defensive back Zaylen Shealer. Shealer finished the game with two tackles and an interception on the defensive side of the ball.

UNDER DOGS COMPLETE THE UPSET

The 24-point under Dogs completed the upset to pick up their first Region 8-AA win over top ranked Prince Avenue Christian.    On Sept. 26, Hart hosted the No. 1/No. 2 ranked Wolverines of Prince Avenue Christian for homecoming. The Wolverines won the toss and deferred to the second half.

Lady Dogs win on senior night, shutout by private schools

The Lady Dogs get shutout by the private schools while picking up a senior night win in between those games.    On Sept. 18, Hart began a four game homestand by hosting the No. 1 ranked Lady Lions of Hebron Christian.

Purple Hurricanes surge past Dogs

Hart County dropped their fourth straight game after the loss to Monroe Area to get off to their worst start since 2017.    On Sept. 19, Hart traveled to Monroe to take on the Purple Hurricanes of Monroe Area.
