Warm winter affects bees, parasites

   According to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, temperatures have not been as cool as climate averages since Dec. 1, 2019. With a warm winter this season, bee populations face the threat of starvation and also parasites.

GAINESVILLE — Before starting the 2020-2021 school year, all students entering or transferring into 11th grade, will need proof of a meningococcal booster shot (MCV4), unless their first dose was received on or after their 16th birthday.

CLAYTON— Feeding people is something that Inger Smith has done for over 30 years, and as the new teaching kitchen manager for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia she hopes to “be the good” as a hub of good will for the people in Rabun County and the mountain region.
