Edward E. Fortson Sr., 59, of Elberton, died  June 6, 2020. A memorial service was held June 10,  at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elberton Chapel.

Mary Jo Grant, 94, of Elberton, died June 6, 2020. She will lie in state in the Rock Branch Baptist Church Worship Center from 1 to 2  p.m.

Infant Talani Arht Blakely, of Hartwell, died May 30, 2020. A graveside service was held June 6. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, Hartwell was in charge of arrangements.

Jerry Hulme, Sr., 73, of Elberton, died June 3, 2020. A memorial service was held June 6, from the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, Hartwell.

Anthony Carter, 47, of Canon, died June 2, 2020. No formal service will be held at this time. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge.

Donald Thomas Ray, 75, of Elberton, died June 3, 2020. A memorial service was held June 7,  at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elberton Chapel.

Annie Ree Garris, 83, of Elberton, died June 3, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., June 11, at Bethel Grove Baptist Church, 3022 Heardmont Road, Elberton.

Peggy Skelton, 71, of Hartwell, died June 1, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Hoyt Brooks, 85, of Royston, died May 26, 2020. A private graveside service will be held in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston is in charge.

Willie Wilbon, 85, of Elberton, died May 30, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 6, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home in Elberton.
