Gwen Nelms Gwendolyn "Gwen" Plemons Nelms, age 86, of Reed Creek, passed away June 1, 2021. Gwen was born on July 25, 1934 in Tellico Plains, Tenn. Gwen was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. They all loved her pound cakes and her biscuits.

Rodney Maxwell Rodney Dean Maxwell, age 51, of Bowman, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Elbert Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born on April 22, 1970 in Forest Park, Ga., to the late Wallace Maxwell and Joann Maxwell.

Richard Butler Richard E. "Dick" Butler, age 79, of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 10, 1942 in Syracuse, N.Y., to the late Monroe Butler and Lotta Schatzel Butler.
