Vivian Geraldine "Gerry" Lane Rowland, 79, of Thirteen Forks Road, Dewy Rose, wife of the late Royce Jessie Lee Rowland, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at her residence.
She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on January 13, 1942, daughter of the late Earl Elmo Lane and Voleta Ruth Summers Lane Reese. She was retired from Monroe Automotive Company and a member of Liberty Congregational Church. Gerry enjoyed arts and crafts, working in her yard, and attending the Elberton Senior Center. 
Survivors include her children: Nena Ruth Thompson and her husband Clark of Bowman, Jody Mae White, wife of the late Mike White of Dewy Rose, William Troy Crawford and his wife Michelle of Jacksonville, Fla., and William Sean Crawford of Dewy Rose; brothers: Ronnie Earl Lane and Dennis Allen Lane; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends. 
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 28, at Liberty Congregational Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 
The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.   Sunday, June 27. 
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Liberty Congregational Church.
