Ms. Phyllis Catherine Tillman Alderman, age 77, of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
She was born on October 10, 1943 in Winter Haven, Fla. to the late Leroy Tillman and Louise Vickery Tillman. She retired from Hartwell Company and was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church. She loved to read, crochet and embroidery but her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her children, Vandy Alderman of Pleasington, Texas, Tiffany Church of Lavonia, Ga., Laura Kesler of Hartwell, Ga., Scott Alderman of Loganville, Ga., Darrel Alderman of Martin, Ga., and Clifford Alderman of Hartwell, Ga.; sister, Vivian Richey of Anderson, S.C.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandra Edwards.
The family will hold a private graveside service on Thursday, December 10, at Flat Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Petty officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
