Marjorie Ault Bailey, 70, of Bowersville, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at her home.
Born on April 18, 1951 in Charleston, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Andrew K. Ault and Lyda Miller Ault.  Mrs. Bailey received a Masters in Special Education from Marshall University and she obtained two Bachelor's degrees in Christian Education and Christian Music. She was a former Special Education teacher at Sherman High School in Seth, W. Va., and she retired as a Special Education teacher at Hart County High School. Marjorie loved to read, and was a member at the Bowersville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Bailey of Bowersville; son, Andrew Bailey (Sarah) of Bowersville; two daughters: Heather Bailey (Blake Estridge) and Karen Bailey (Mario Almond), all of Hartwell; a special friend whom she treated as a daughter, Regan Rose; brother, Richard Ault (Susan) of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Andrea Ault of Virginia; and three grandchildren: Jocelyn Bailey, Jordan Erin Bailey, Myles Cassidy; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Connie Ivester officiating.  Burial was in the Bowersville City Cemetery.
