Lenora Ramsey
Lenora Brown Ramsey, 80, of Old 29 Hwy., Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home.
Born on July 21, 1940 in Danielsville, she was the daughter of the late George Brown and Rosa Mae Seabolt Brown. Mrs. Ramsey was a retired program assistant from University of Georgia 4-H, Hart County Extension office. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church
Survivors include one son, Steve Ramsey (Jan) of Elberton; two daughters: Renee Teal of McCaysville and Gail Ramsey of Royston; one brother, Howard Mize of Greenwood, S.C.; one sister, Sara Lou Casper of Athens; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Ray Ramsey; three brothers: Cecil Mize, Malcolm Mize and Alvin Mize; and two sisters: Lillian Blount and Ruth Gordon.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with the Rev. Adam Tripp officiating.
