Jerry Welborn

Jerry Mack Welborn, 65, of Lavonia Highway, Bowersville, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at his home.
Born on August 6, 1954 in Royston, Ga., he was the son of the late Mack L. Welborn and Nina Bailey Welborn. Mr. Welborn was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Brenda Grubbs of Bowersville; his nephew, Todd Grubbs (Angela) of Bowersville; his two beloved dogs: Elbert and Ace and several aunts and uncles and cousins also survive. 
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with the Rev. Terry James officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
