Jeanette Coile
Jeanette Seawright Coile, age 82, of Cokesbury Highway, Hartwell, wife of Johnny William Coile, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday morning, May 7, 2021, at her residence following a 13-year battle with Alzheimer's.
One of 13 children, Mrs. Coile was born in Hart County on July 26, 1938, to Charles Payton "C.P." Seawright and Cleora Gaines Seawright. She was a homemaker for most of her life, and prided herself in being the best wife, mother, and "MawMaw" that she could be. Her dinner table was a source of comfort and a place the entire family would gather on Sunday after church. Jeanette loved gardening and tending to her many flowers. Mrs. Coile attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church and had previously worked as a secretary for Moore Paving Company.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, Johnny, she is survived by two sons, both of whom she was very proud: Timothy Coile and Christopher Coile, both of Hartwell; grandsons that she adored: Jonathon Coile and Tyler Coile; great-grandchildren: Boone, Tucker, and Cooper; siblings: Barron and Beverly Seawright and Carol Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sheila Laviolette Coile; great-grandson, Bodhi Luke Coile; and siblings: Frances Wilson, Sara Jean Duncan, Ann Ward, Larry Seawright, Ronnie Seawright, Jim Seawright, Joel Seawright, Tom Seawright, Bill Seawright, and Jerry Seawright.
Funeral services celebrating her life were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Revs. Tommy Childress and Richard Jarvis officiated. Burial was at Memorial Garden of Prayer.
Memorials may be made in her memory to Hart County Animal Rescue, 4074 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, GA 30643 or to Amedisys Hospice, 53 Rock Drive, Toccoa, GA 30577.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to Trish Cooper, DJ Dougherty, Donna Redmond, Charles Rickett, Priscilla Kirby, and all of the Amedisys Hospice staff and volunteers for the care in which they provided.
