James Harbin
James Robert Harbin, age 66, of Sawyer Lane in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 5, 1954 in Royston, Ga., and retired from the City of Hartwell Street Department where he was a supervisor. He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father, Julian Harbin of Hartwell, Ga.; children, Sandy Phillips of Hartwell, Jenny Miller of Fair Play, S.C., and Chris Harbin of Blue Ridge, Ga.; siblings, Vernon Harbin, Jerry Harbin and Debbie Owens all of Hartwell; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Austin Phillips, Collin and Marissa Graham and Jessica, Emma and Brayden Harbin survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Vernon Harbin and his wife, Marie Adams Harbin.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 21, in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with burial at Memorial Garden of Prayer.
