Darby Gene Hall
Darby Gene Hall, 79, of Canon, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Royston, on June 27, 1942, son of the late James Harold Hall and the late Doris Ruth Dawkins Hall. He was a public accountant and member of the Grace Baptist Church in Canon. Mr. Hall was also a member of the Lavonia Moose Lodge, CC Riders, North Georgia Honor Society and Georgia Association of Auctioneers. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Simmons Hall.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Tasha and John Skyler of Bogart, Tammy and Paul Vaughn of Carnesville, and Melanie and Tracy Perry of Bogart; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ed Ginn of Piedmont, S.C.; "adopted" grandson and caregiver, Eli Brown; and eight other grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 12, in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Andy Huff and Rev. Bert Synan officiating. Entombment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-North in Lavonia.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until funeral hour on Thursday afternoon. The family is at their respective homes.
