Chris Waddell

Christopher James Waddell, 45, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at his home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1974, in Atlanta, the son of Paul A. Waddell, Jr. and Joan Maureen (Blanke) Waddell. He was a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a commercial driver. Chris was baptized at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville and attended services at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Patrick and Jessica Waddell; sister and brother-in-law: Kathleen and Patrick Kennedy; nephews: Kaleb Waddell, Austin Waddell, and Andrew Kennedy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and his grandparents: Charles and Maureen Blanke and Paul Waddell, Sr. and Bernice Waddell.
Chris will be cremated in accordance with his request. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
