Carol Dennis

Mrs. Carol Drew Dennis, age 94, a resident of Hart Care Center, Hartwell, Ga., passed peacefully early Monday morning, Nov. 25, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, S.C.
She was born December 25, 1924 in Trumansburg, N.Y. to the late Leon Drew and Eleanor Maude Higgins Drew. Mrs. Dennis was a retired florist and attended Hartwell First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter-in-laws, Susan Dennis of Marcellus, N.Y., and Dixie Dennis of Hartwell, Ga., and grandchildren, Drew Dennis and Austin Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger Dennis and sons, Rick and Jim Dennis.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in New York. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Hartwell First United Methodist Church - Bowers Fund - 200 East Howell Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
