"Butch" White
Jack G. "Butch" White, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home.
Born on July 6, 1942 in Hartwell, he was the son of the late Cullen White and Mary Saylors White. Mr. White was retired from the City of Hartwell, where he was the street superintendent for a number of years and a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God. He was also a U. S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his step-mother, Virginia Chambers of Anderson, S.C.; his wife, Jackie Carnes White of the home; son, Dennis White (Rhonda) of Hartwell; daughter, Sue White Thomasson (Ron Morrison) of Hartwell; a brother, Danny White of Anderson; three sisters: Bobby Brown of Hartwell, Sue King and Janice Corn both of Anderson; four grandchildren: Amanda Cleveland (Daniel) of Cibolo, Texas, Will Andrews, Keri Shirley (Curtis) and B.J. White all of Hartwell; five great-grandchildren: Logan Dowell, Tyler Welborn, Payton Shirley, Alivia Shirley and Gia Cleveland also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hugh White.
