Beverly Pinyan
Beverly Pinyan, 89, of Snellville, passed away September 20, 2021. 
She was born to the late Frances and Julian Burns, September 15, 1932 in Decatur, Ga. Beverly graduated from Decatur Girls High School and received a BBA from Georgia College. 
After meeting on a blind date, Beverly married the late Sanford Billy Pinyan in 1953 and spent time in both Atlanta and Birmingham before moving to Savannah where they created a loving home for their two children. They later retired to Lake Hartwell and enjoyed many years together before moving to Stone Mountain in 2005. Beverly then moved to The Sheridan at Eastside in 2020. Beverly is survived by two children, Ann Pinyan (wife Dara Reynolds) of Roswell, Ga. and Leslie Pinyan, Baltimore, Md. She is also survived by one grandson, Julian Pinyan of Athens, Ga.; one sister, Barbara Fowler (David Fowler); and four nephews and one niece and their families. 
Beverly was passionate about decorating and enjoyed sewing and painting over the years. She also loved to play bridge with her friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and a friend to many, some for more than 80 years. Beverly was very proud of her children and loved her family more than anything. 
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 25, at Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Ga. Visitation will be held before the service at 10 a.m. 
The family requests that masks be worn please. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Smoke Rise Baptist Church.
