Betty Lewis Price, age 83, of Canon, Ga., wife of 66 years to William Price, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Hart Care Center. 
She was born on September 3, 1937 in Franklin County to the late Noah Lewis and Cora Carlton Lewis. She was retired from the restaurant industry and past co-owner of Booty's Fish House. She attended Bethany Baptist Church and is the last surviving member of her immediate family. 
She is survived by her children: Terry (Brenda) Price and Shirley Carpenter; grandchildren: Eric (Angi) Carpenter, Crystal (Randy) Coker, Clint (Angie) Carpenter, Garrett Carpenter, Ashley (Micheal) Rucker and Rachael Price; great-grandchildren: Lauren Carpenter, Alyssa Carpenter, Elizabeth Holmes, Brantson Holmes, Madelyn Coker, Dillon Carpenter, Tyler Carpenter, Omarion Rucker, Cheyenne Rucker and Camryn Rucker; sister-in-law, Merle Lewis; brother-in-law, Baron Seawright; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ralph Lewis, L.Q Lewis, Grady Lewis, Charlie Lewis, Jack Lewis, Carlton Lewis, Evelyn Lewis Seawright and Nettie Carlton.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Durham and Rev. John Forbes officiating.
