Beth Bearden Buchanan, 54, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Born on December 6, 1966 in Carrollton, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Eugene Bearden and Eunice Jones Bearden Leamon. She was formerly co-owner of Buchanan Express, currently co-owner of The Storage Box and a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She also volunteered at Hartwell Health and Rehab for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Buchanan; one son, Brad Buchanan of Hartwell; two daughters: Lauren Luker of Hartwell, Brooke Rousey (Johnathan) of Royston; one brother, Johnny Bearden of Carrollton; two sisters: Rhonda Haynes (Von), Denean Hill (Todd) all of Bremen; four grandchildren: Cayson, McKenzie, Hunter and Waylon.  Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with the Rev. Terry Meeks and Mr. Slate Bauknight officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
