Barbara Vickery Andrews, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on June 30, 1942 in Taylors, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Horace J. "H.J." Vickery Jr. and Deane Adams Vickery. Mrs. Andrews was an RN who served the Hart County Hospital, Heritage Inn Nursing Home, and Hart Care Center. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her four daughters: Jenda Austin (Mark) of Hartwell, Jan Stowe (Richard) of Royston, Kelly Barnard (Sean) of Hartwell, and Ashley Pepper (Daniel) of Hartwell; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delorese White of Hartwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Kells Andrews; and a great-grandchild, Ashley McKenna Seymour.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with the Rev. Robby Brown and Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
