Carol Pilgrim
Beverly Carol Skelton Pilgrim, 75, of Royston, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. Pilgrim was born in Elberton, on January 30, 1946, daughter of the late Otis Ferris Skelton and the late Pauline Gaines Skelton. She was a cafeteria worker having worked at Hart County High School. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Walking Worthy Sunday School class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Pilgrim; and sister, Camilla Skelton Mize.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and David Dudley of Royston, and Merry and Kevin Kirk of Royston; grandchildren: William Dudley, Justin and Samantha Dudley, Madison Dudley, Brittany and Terry Starrett, Kristin and Ryan Ray, and Elizabeth Kirk; great-grandchildren: Kaiden Carter, Kinsley Anders, Maci Dudley, Corbin Ray, Emmaleigh Starrett, and Charles William "Charlie" Ray; brothers, Wayne Skelton and Randy "Dell" Skelton both of Hartwell; and sister, Linda Childs of Conyers.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John Todd and Rev. Chris Pritchett officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
